We are the alliance Selbstbestimmung Selbst Gemacht. Self-determination is not given to someone; self-determination is permitted. So that we trans*, inter*, enbys and queer people can live self-determined lives, we demand that the federal government recognize the gender autonomy of all people. The recently passed Self-Determination Act is not sufficient for this and in part runs counter to this goal. To show how it can be done, we have written our own Self-Determination Act. In addition, we respond to the misanthropic “debates” that are conducted over our heads with interventions such as the sauna in front of the Bundestag.
The genders of those who identify with them!
We are a self-organised group of politically engaged trans* and non-binary people who are working on the political self-determination of trans*, inter and non-binary people. We connect the discussion of political self-determination with questions about the support of democracy vs. de-democratisation and a shift to the right, issues of property relations and representative vs. real justice.
